Popular Cinco De Mayo Hats.

My best friend Hollie's favorite holiday is Cinco De Mayo. She insisted that Ryan and I bring sombreros for our night out. When I say insisted, I mean she literally asked me 8 times within a 2 hour period. Ryan and I went to several Party City stores. We did this on actual Cinco De Mayo, so we couldn't find a sombrero to save our lives. In order to avoid disappointing Hollie we decided to make our own. How you ask? Well, we bought $1.00 island style hats, 4 Mexican table decorations, and duck tape.

This was the result.

Believe it or not, these hats were a hit. We got asked all night where we "bought" our hats. When people learned we made them, they couldn't believe it. I'm still not sure how people seriously thought we bought these from a store, but to each their own. Moral of the story - don't buy expensive sombreros on Cinco De Mayo, make your own hats and be the cool kids.

Mushy Ryan and Sabrina Stuff.

Ryan made me this for our one year Anniversary. How cute, right? "I love you to the moon and back" is something we say to each other all the time. He is such a sweet boy.

For Valentine's Day I made Ryan this "365 Reasons Why I Love You" box. The idea is that every day of the year he reads a reason why I love him.

Inside there are literally 365 reasons why I love him. Trust me when I say that writing 365 reasons is a VERY difficult task no matter how much you love someone. Sweet gesture, but you will get tired after hitting 100 reasons.

This idea can be used in a lot of ways. I've seen it done using jars, books, etc.

Just some random crafts.

I wanted to put up some of the things I have done the past few months as a first addition to this blog. I love crafting and decorating my classroom, so helping my student's do both really puts a smile on my face!

Hand print Halloween cards using scrapbook paper and Halloween stickers.

Construction paper lanterns. Really easy to make and so cute!
